Keste is a Kazakh traditional embroidery technique and one of the famous arts crafts. Keste is the oldest type of Kazakh craftsmanship and a very special way local artisans used to tell a story.
The type of embroidery I would like to show was usually created from fabric, such as felt, wool and silk. There are hundreds of types of keste, using different types of materials and ornaments.
